Below are details of our first project on MENTAL HEALTH, funded by MIND in 2000.
OUR GRATEFUL THANKS TO
Mrs.McGhie-Belgrave, M.B.E., and to The Late Billy Ko, M.B.E., J.P., and Councillor
Zia-Ul Islam, M.B.E, of St James Advice & Community Centre, Birmingham, who have
helped us in the making of our Mind Millennium Commission funded video project on
aspects of POSITIVE MENTAL HEALTH within the Ethnic Minority Communities of Birmingham
This is available to our target audience, children studying Citizenship courses,
students and workers in the Caring professions. There are interviews with those who
have experienced mental health problems themselves and have taken positive steps
to overcome them. We also have comment from experienced workers.
